BPC tune using Mac

Anyone followed their instructions and done this?

I'm having issues even getting the basic windows software on the computer, and I am NOT buying a computer just for a tune.

Any insight is appreciated.

You can get a Win X image for free and install it with VB. That's how I was able to download and install my flashes. My 6 year old MacBook Pro could run it although it was a bit on the slow side when booting up Windows.

Just got this to work now.

I had initially tried this and was having issues with the windows part.

Thanks.

When BPC sends the initial files, do I open the email in that windows partition? Or do I open this on the Mac and it automatically transfers to the windows partition.

Partition is not the right word, but I think you know what I mean.

I am now officially seriously technologically challenged.....

no. All i did was download it normally to a flash drive then remove and boot up Windows and re-insert drive so the Windows OS can read it and drag and drop it to a directory

depends on how you've set up virtual box. It will be easiest to open your web browser in the virtual machine and download it from there. Otherwise you'll have to setup machine flders shared as network drives to your VB windows install.

he's not booting windows directly if he's using virtualbox. It runs inside macos.
