Cruise control clicks
I've noticed when I've got audio off and am using adaptive cruise control on my M40i that I can hear noises that sound like clicks coming from the driver's footwell. I'm assuming its the cruise control kicking in and out with throttle/brakes, but curious as my 2 Audi's did not have any noises when cruise control engaged.
Is this normal? Or are people's (adaptive) cruise control completely silent? NB. I can't hear it when playing audio due to volume, so you may need to turn down your audio to hear. Thanks |

I'd wondered about this too, and also come to same assumption: relay switches. It doesn't bother me and as everyone is saying, you need very quiet conditions to hear it.
