New car rear passenger door will not open from the inside.

Can open from the outside. Anyone have the same problem?

Child lock engaged? Open the door from the outside and there should be a switch located near the door's inside edge

Have you checked the child locks on the driver side door. You can block them from opening the door with a toggle setting there.

First make sure it's not raining. Then check your child locks. Seriously is this your first car?

Don't forget it could also be related to the exhaust being too loud with those damn annoying pops and crackles!!

Maybe it's his first 4 door after a life of coupes, convertibles and Jeep wranglers... Some people who don't have kids and are old enough to have been a kid before the child safety lock was mandated I think in the 1980s may not know they exist until someone accidentally enables them on their car.

IMHO the question about leaving the car in the rain was much stupider than this one
