[SoCal] Can I hear and smell your M235i w/ catless downpipe?

Haha sorry for the weird title...

I am wondering if there are any LA/OC M235i owners with a catless DP in their M235i that i could come listen to and smell...

I am deciding on whether or not I want to go with a catted or catless DP... trying to pair it with an M Performance Exhaust as well.

I would prefer to go catless but I use this car as my DD and I drive around 3 hours/day for work in bumper to bumper traffic on the 405... long story short i cant have this car reek like gasoline

I can come to you and it would only take 10-15 mins. would like to hear the car/smell the car (while you drive me around the block too if that's cool)... i don't mind buying you dinner!

thanks in advance,

Eric

i live in the bay, but i got my VRSF catless DP installed by SSR in Irvine, and my biggest reservation was the smell of gasoline, and tbh it does smell A LOT. Definitely looking to get a catted DP once the funds will allow me to, cuz I definitely don't like the super pungent smell

Only $180! I was super surprised cuz they're a big name shop, but they got it done in an hour and had a great waiting area while they were doing the work, highly highly recommend them

I have test pipe and MPE.

If you have the windows down and the wind blows the fumes from the exhaust into your car you can smell it.

If you're smelling it in any other scenario you have an exhaust leak. My last ~7 cars have had test pipes without issue.

By the way I have a catted downpipe and there is a strong smell of gas at cold start. Once warmed up it's fine but if you are very sensitive, it could be an issue.
