trailer hitch help

Hi Guys
I will be fitting a westfalia trailer hitch "towbar" and vehicle specific harness shortly and my question is after I install the wiring harness and re connect the battery do I need to enter a code for the radio or any coding for the car at all or once I reconnect the battery Im good to go thanks for your replys and help Craig

You will have to reset you clock. That should be it.

ok talked to bmw no radio code but the car had to be coded to tell it a trailer harness module was connected to can-bus the tow hitch installers did this as part of the install all good now very happy with install
