Current BMW financing rates
I'm about to order an X3 xDrive30i. I'm deciding between financing with my credit union at ~3.0% (36 months) or with BMW. Does anyone know BMW's current rates for a credit score of 800+? I really don't want to fill out another credit application to find out but if I go with BMW, I get $3500 manufacturer incentives vs. $2000 without BMW financing. That extra $1500 may be enough incentive to go with BMW financing.

I just learned that the APR BMW is offering is 2.25% for up to 60 months! This is well below that offered by my credit union of 3.17%. My sales person said it is a promotion. I'm in the Dallas-Fort Worth (USA) area. So BMW financing it will be!

I financed mine 2 weeks ago. I got an offer for 1% for 60 months or 1.9 for 66/72 months. They promised to beat my credit unions rate (2.7) even before I stepped in to the dealership.
They didn't offer me anything lower, but my guess is it could be even less if its for a shorter period. |

agree with 4.1% best rate on recent purchase - did it just to get the incentive and was told I can pay it of in 3 months
was also told they can do promo rate of 0.9% for any CPO- one dealer had a demo m40i w/about 1000 miles on it they could do the promo rate on and another dealer offered to convert a new M40i by having one the staff put a bunch of miles on it before they give it to me just to get the promo rate |

Finance folks have some tricks up their sleeve. They added the vehicle into the Loaner fleet, on paper, to get the lower rates and additional discounts. The car only had under 6 miles on it when I drove it out.

Did that end up extending your warranty to get the CPO warranty?

ok so I take back my earlier comment that 4.1 is the best deal, sounds like 0.9 is real even for non-CPO and probably the one to fight for if you care about financing long term
congrats on all the great deals guys |

My car is on the assembly line as of today; hadn’t thought of financing but the finance guy said there’s a “workaround” (perhaps the loaner trick noted above) to get me .9% for 60 which is appealing given ability to keep the cash deposited at a higher rate. No pre-pay penalty in my state either if I go that route later.

it depends on where you live. if you go to the bmwusa.com website and type in zip codes under the "offers and finance" link, you will see that the rates change as you enter different regions. im at 4.15% for southern california. i typed in a boston zip code and saw 2.15%. poster above said he got 0.9%.
