Tailpipe soot

what is the best method to clean the soot off the right side tailpipe ? looks odd to have one side dirtier than the other .
I don't ride in sport mode that often to balance the flow although it does sound nicer .

On my F36 with chrome tailpipes, I always used Eagle One Wipe and Shine on a near-daily basis, even during the winter. Once per week, I hit the pipes with a little cleaner wax as well. The consistency of keeping them clean seems to be more important than the product - once the soot gets baked on, it's a bear to clean off.

I haven't tried this, but I wonder if a coating of Opti-Seal would help.

I agree. the more you do it, the not as strong a cleaner is needed. Hell, I found baby wipes work in a pinch if you do it almost daily. and last time I washed my car, there was a weeks worth on the pipes, and the soapy water was enough to clean it off.

definitely agree a coating of something will definitely deter the soot from adhering over long periods though.

whatever it takes to keep these cars looking sweet.

Go Green works well for removing the soot. Spray and let sit a few minutes then light scrub.

Some metal/silver polish took it right off and shined it up.
