Portable Air Compressors

What's everyone use for a portable air compressor? I was looking at some of the VIAIR models - 85p cigarette one vs. 88p battery clamp one.

The M40i manual says the max wattage to all the 12v sockets is 140w over 12v which is ~12amps. The VIAIR 85p uses 15amps. Even the BMW mobility kit says 15 amps... seems kinda weird at the misalignment between the manual and their mobility kit? Is BMW's docs correct that the max wattage is 140w on these sockets?

Also, what's everyone else using?

I have 2 of the 88p's (one for each car). Oldest one is about 5 years old works perfectly everytime.

A compressor with nominal 15A, will draw 12A - or less, when hooked up to vehicle.

No problem!

Have slime/compressor set from Amazon - never used.

I use the Ryobi Dual Function Inflator Deflator.

Once you have used cordless, you won't use anything else. It is so convenient without worrying the wire or extension cords, and there is no need to start the car/engine.

And you just set the tire pressure, turn it on, you can then walk away as it will stop at the preset pressure. And unlike some models with built-in battery which may not last and would be impossible to get a replacement, there is no concern about battery supply/replacement for the Ryobi. If you already have Ryobi system, this is a no brainer.

(Ryobi has a cheaper model "Power Inflator" - but don't get that one, this one is much better.)
