Blacklines Installed

Blacklines are now installed thanks to Morristown

. I also looked at the bulb several in here have talked about. The yellow bulb, it's fixed in there, soldered in. So I assume if it blows, it's not just an easy twist. Wonder why they did that, so people wouldn't replace them white white bulbs?

i'm assuming you're talking about the signal bulb. i remember seeing pics with solder around it. forgot to look. just installed mine last night as well.

Yes its the signal light..very strange....I also was making sure all my lights worked before I put the pins back, and forgot to check the drivers side...of course my luck, I turned the lights on and my dash indicated a bulb OUT....I took it back out and for some reason it works now. So hopefully that will not be an ongoing issue

Just swap out the stock bulb cluster with the new blackline one. That way, you can replace whatever you want.

Hmmm... I thought they twist right out? I want to get the fully chromed bulbs for mine. I twisted the bulbs right out of the tailights I took out to get the number - 1057 I think.

aren't the amber bulbs in the blacklines silvervisions? when they're off, there isn't much amber reflecting in the housing.

Hey the bulb I'm talking about are already silver, and are soldered in.

Well I could, but...it has the orange signal bulb, and the silver on with the blacklines are soldered in

Mine has a chrome light bulb in it.

I think that I'm going to give myself something to do tomorrow and just install them instead of trying sell them.

Just buy a new silver bulb. It beats having to deal with the soldered bulb.

Yes install those babies!! LOL My bulb is silver, but flash yellow, it will not twist out. I was trying to figure out the reasoning. I am curious to see if it still twists, its hard to tell

Blacklines are sitting right next to me

and the spoiler is at a body shop being painted today - should be installed on monday!! (I'm gonna install the blacklines after the spoiler - just incase)

VERY nice!! Did you check and see if your bulb was soldered in, it's the silver one??

I have to check if mine are soldered in. The base of the bulb is amber and it reflects onto the back of the housing (a little). I've seen bulbs that were fully chromed so I was thinking about getting those.
