Rear Foglight coding ?

Hello, am moving to europe and need to get the rear foglihjts working , have a 2018 X3 have ordered the OEM switch from germany but am sure that will need coded( already took the old one and cut the tabs off so the us switch can be modified) but need to know what E-sys program I need and is there a list of coding that can be done if the cafd files etc..? cannot find anywere

There is no coding. You just need to be able to push the button, check out this post I found via search:

X3 G01 requires coding. Replaced US switch with Euro OEM and waiting for coding.

Good link. Thanks. I think you are correct. I think this is a hard wire setup.

Thanks for the info, have modified the US switch and still nothing so am sure needs coded ,ordered a OEM from a friend in Germany. Please keep me up to date if anybody finds any code options and will keep looking.

OJ Mini, lived 20 years in Germany and never used them but it is EU law and have to have them.

Thanks r3t1cal , yes did it to my 17 330i F31 worked find am waiting for my new switch OEM with the rear fog, took the new x3 switch apart and it is a little more involved but can be done, anyway when I get the new switch and a psdz data update will get into it and see if it is the same and will post the out come.
