Hello all
Thinking of biting the bullet and ordering a 40i
Not sure when the x3m is coming

Is the 40i due an engine update
Keep hearing it getting an extra 20 horses

2020MY will be the year of the ///M, with many of the latest genuine M models debuting...X3M, X4M, X5M, M8...

2020MY will also be the model year, the X3 M40i gets a bump to 385hp.

Then again, you are in the UK, so timing, hp #s may differ slightly.

However, some of us do not have the patience to wait for an new 2020MY ///M, and must act now!!

2019 start of production (SOP) is next month Aug 2018...you have a whole another year before the 2020MY

Doubtful. Get an M40i NOW, and enjoy it. Then change in 2020 after the M has been out for a few months, and the dealers are offering discounts. I’m waiting to see what the full blown M will be like, but the M40i has enough power for the time being.
