Sport vs non sport exhaust

Hey guys is there any difference between the sport and non sport package exhaust? Looking at a 2008 e92 and the exhaust seemed a little quieter compared to my old 2007 335i with the sport package. And also the non sport package car I?m looking at seemed to not have very good throttle response or modulation. Is that different too between the sport and non sport packages? Thank you everyone

Powerwise? No. At most 5hp at peak.

Soundwise, not much.

All E9x have the exhaust flap.

As for the exhaust itself, there definitely is a difference from coupe to sedan; they have different center sections.

Sedan and coupe exhaust systems are different but sport and non-sport are exactly the same in their respective body styles.

Just picked up my 335i non sport. Fixed the throttle response by resetting throttle adaptations which I highly recommend everyone doing even on a manual trans car. I’m not too worried about the oil cooler because the temps stay exactly the same as my oil cooled car in 90 degree heat. It doesn’t go over 235 degrees. I just need to swap the seats to the sport seats which I loved and then I’ll be good to go. It’s an 08 manual trans with 49k miles on it. It’s a gem I couldn’t pass it up
