I'm not sure if it matters, but you saw that those are for a 135i, right?
Personally I just don't think there's room under the car for more than what is supplied by the factory. But I bet a quality straight-thru muffler/glasspack where the OE center muffler / y-pipe is would do a decent job... that's the route I will probably eventually go myself. I've been trying to determine exactly what will fit.

Why not a straight-through muffler instead of the vibrant res?
