1/4 mile

My car now has 3.5k miles after the 1200 mile service took it to the dragstrip here in chandler arizona.
Best time was 11.49 at 120mph.
Temp was 104f, 1200ft above sea level.
Car is stock and also was running 91 octane fuel.
Other runs were 11.6 consistent at 118mph
This sounds slow for m5, but also hellcats even with DR were running
12.5.
I hope once temp cools down in the 70s then might be faster and will add
Some race gas to up the octane level.

That's roughly 4600ft elevation based on Density Altitude. I'm surprised you were that quick at 104F plus 91. Sounds like you destroyed the HellCats !

Yes used launch control everytime.
One time due to wheel hop the launch control disengaged
Between 1st and 2nd gear, had to shift manually for that
Run which was 12.1 sec.

But anyways it was a lot of fun. Even new gtr that day could not
Get better than 11.5

That last run was 7xF at 2590ft DA. Great job pure stock, but MUCH better air conditions vs the OP. These cars will run pure stick in decent air and if launched properly.

I pretty much love it! It's the ultimate car for performance and dropping the kiddo off to school in the mornings! So far no problems with it and I always drive the crap out of it!

Doesn't the car try and prevent using launch control over and over? I thought I read six miles had to be driven between launches, but that may have been related to a cold start warm up.

Yes you cant do back to back, but after each run you drive back and wait in the line by that time launch control is ready again.

We did 6 launches in less than 20 minutes and
.7 miles in between each launch.

All in above 90 degree temps, and zero waiting between runs.

Car was very consistent for all the runs.

There is no necessary distance or time in between launches.

Did you get to 2800rpm consistently on each launch ?
