Looks a little bit like a minivan in that rear pic.Probably because the tailgate goes so low.Its not a very good design IMO.

Those are Style 744 wheels according to the order guide.

21x9.5, 275/40R21
21x10.0, 315/35R21

We ordered the Style 741M wheels for ours.

The dead-on rear pic reminds me of the current Q7's rear, more squared off looking than i initially thought. These pics don't make me regret moving from an F15 X5 to a X3 M40i...love everything about the M40i.

Don't like the shape of the new X5 at all. I have a X3 M40i that I got after trading in my F15 and I am getting the newly facelifted RRS

I like the RRS but only issue is the trunk space is smaller plus i heard issue with the navigation system.

How it doesn't boot up properly even after turning on and off the car.
People actually had to walk away from the car and come back to boot it up.

Hope they have address that issue.
The 2016 RRS backup camera was a joke.

saw this on a instagram page. Black looks cool! I would probably get the black grills and add tint as I normally do to all my cars.

Touch Pro Duo Navigation sorted, boots instantly. Rear camera same resolution as X3. So far so good

Except the seats, multi-contour they're not.
The new X5's rear does look somewhat minivan(ish) but the rest of the car including the interior which is beautiful is quite nice.

I could have sworn that was an X3 when you see it from the front.

I was hoping we’d avoid this trend in the X-series.

The X5 M50d on show in the Courtyard of the Mandarin Oriental Buckhead , Atlanta where everybody has descended for the international media launch of the New BMW X5.
The M50d is visually similar to the forthcoming M50i.

Given this M50D has South Carolina license plates, I wonder if this can be driven on U.S. roads. Maybe there is some exemption for a manufacturer.

Cannot unsee minivan. The rear design overemphasizes the width in a way that resembles them. The G05 is already wider by 2.6 inches, I don't see why they felt the need to couple that with slender taillights and a wider rear hatch. (STILL, hoping I'll change my mind when I see it in person)

This may be a stoopid question but why wouldn't it be legal to drive this in the US? Because it is a diesel?
