hey guys, new to the forum. got my f30 335i last day of july and literally a week later, a chevy express hits me while he's backing up.

it's been a nightmare with insurance, it took them a week for them to finally get a hold of the driver and get my deductible waived. left my car at the shop and it's still there ): i have an estimated completion date of september 7. i miss my f30 so much and the worst part is i have 3 new cosmetic mods packaged up waiting in my house so i can put them on my car !!!!!!

anywho thought i'd share this tragic story.. believe it or not the hit wasn't even that bad. the car was huge and the impact caused the door panel to be dented, scratched up and the alignment is off. the body shop is charging 4k for the repairs and labor! imo it's pretty steep but i'm a first time bmw owner so i'm not familiar with repair costs of these beasts.

It's a minor body damage. Patience is just about the only remedy at this point. While waiting for repairs to be completed, time could be invested in expanding the list of planned mods ...
