DP downpipes install RR

I just installed the RissRacing DPs last night. WHAT A PITA! its pretty damn tight in there. For those of you who you also have installed DPs..

Does your car have more vibrations in the cabin at idle? and when the dps are installed.. my rear dp was about 1/4 inch shorter then the front one... anyone else?

Not really any more vibration. Its certainly louder, but sounds good to me!

Yours was only 1/4" shorter? Mine was more like a solid inch.

def more vibration at idle. and I found the second time I put the down pipes in if you leave the v band clamps loose and twist the two DP side to side a bit you'll fined a position where there pretty close in length to each other and position to the rest of the exhaust. the first time I put them in one was dam close to an inch off. second time was more like a 1/8-1/4 very close. and as for getting things together with an inch difference.... well get the nut started and tighten them down.

I unhooked the rest of the system (from the DPs back), then tightened the nuts going to the DP's. After that I hooked back up the rear section.

It all has to do with the install. Its a process to get them to set perfect. Its easy for my techs because they have done it so many times. However for the first timer its a little harder. If your having problems please contact me I will put a tech on the phone to help you out.
