I think your car is really well built, i would remove ventilated seating as you will loose on the comfort because less padding (due to vents). Everything else I would keep.

I'm driving a 2017 X5 M50d limited edition BMW 100 years that is almost fully loaded. I don't have vented seats or night vision but I do have rear seat entertainment that I will skip this time. Kids use there iPads anyway.

Comfort access is a must on every future car, just keep your key at home in led box and ok against theft

OK in theory but what if you are going to a restaurant or the mall or just Shopping for groceries. Anyone that gets within 10 feet of your key can pick up the signal and extend it and open the car. Once inside, they hook up to the OBD Interface and code a new key, then drive off.

I sure don't want to lug around a lead box or have my key wrapped in aluminum foil all the time.

Out of curiosity....if you leave the key fob at home and use your cell phone to unlock/start the vehicle can people still steal the code by being close to your phone? I'm just trying to understand how the code can get stolen.

I think you have to hold the phone close to the door handle so I don't think you can use that signal with the same method

I have a modified OBD port (unique) so only works with adapter on mine, but yes your point is valid

I have ordered the same M50d pretty much - only Saphire Black and no piano black (fineline stripe) - I am interested to hear why you are taking air suspension and not the M professional suspension? All I have read is the ride is still smooth in comfort and the anti roll suspension (DHP?) is supposedly a must have and comes only with the M Professional Suspension.

I didn't put that much thought into it. I never had a car with air suspension before so I wanted to try it out

Really? Can someone please comment here who has a current M50d with M professional suspension. Is the ride in comfort mode really still hard? I will not be tracking my car but at speed want to feel safe therefore wanting the anti-roll DHP setting which only comes with the M Professional suspension AFAIK.

I regret not adding the DHP on my current m50d. To me, the car feels like it could use the stabilization, especially for people in the back. Chose as well the M professional pack on the new one as I don't expect to take the car off-road anyway. Call me shallow but I don't really like the empty area where the off-road and the height adjutment buttons were supposed to be :-)
