PROcede V3 + Homelink map switching

How do I set up my Homelink buttons for map switching or are they somehow already set up? I don't use any of those buttons for garage doors....

hold a button on your mirror while simultaneously pressing the switcher. when it's been stored the yellow light will flash rapidly, if it doens't do so after 15 seconds change the distance between the two and try again

ok, i did this and it seems to be setup (i cleared all three as per manual and then set up buttons 1 and 2). They flashed rapidly when I programmed them (when I pressed on both at the same time)...I didn't see changes to boost when switching through Homelink...to test I was looking at the boost gauge...it would never switch using Homelink....i'm still stuck with using the little V3 keychain remotes...i really want to get rid of these off my keys...any ideas??

When I use the Vishnu provided one I do see it. When I use Homelink, I don't.

Go to datalogging>channels set up and then add current map selection to your channels. Then you will be able to confirm that you have programed your home link properly. Also, note that homelink needs to be held down for about 2 seconds before it will activate another map. BMW builds this delay in for garage door safety reasons.

by add the current map selection to your channels, when you press the home link to change map, you will see it on you screen immediately the map change?

Yes you will, faster with remotes slower with homelink.

I got it working...i checked its working by looking at the "current map selection" channel in the procede reader software....very cool

finally got that remote off my keys
