upgrading to ps4s rears only first?

Im currently running PSS all around, my rears need replacement (the fronts are fine)

do you guys see any issue in just upgrading the rears with PS4S and keeping the PSS on the front until theyre worn?

I'd say it's close enough. I'm likely going to do the same thing if my rears wear out first.
If anything the car might understeer at the limit.

I switched to PS4S rears and still have the stock Contis up front....no issues but I will say I'm chomping at the bit to replace them as earliest as next spring.

PS4S is a superior tire as well. Independent tests show better grip, wet traction, etc. Basically, it's currently the best overall summer tire on the market.

voinea I didn't say you can't find them anywhere but I know you cannot get them at the dealer anymore.

I asked this same question to Tire Rack and they recommended to keep it matched so I got PSS instead but it probably won't make a big difference.

They prob told you that as they want to sell their remaining PSS stock.

With everyone switching to 4s they will have a hard time moving pss stock.
