Does the M340i not have the driving assists? Those images the main opening in the bumper doesn't have that big sensor piece.

To me the grill looks too pronounced and too aggressive off-road like. And those paper shredder teeth. Is it larger on 340 than the rest?

It took a while but it seems there is finally a significant engine performance upgrade. It hasn’t really been there since the 2006 N54 but this iteration of the B58 looks like a bit of a beast. The people who have tested the X7 even say that it doesn’T lack for power in that behemoth. Together with the large perforated M performance brakes it should make for a rather capable car.

So fired up for the G80 now!

It all comes down to the availability of a manual transmission...and if I can keep my hair for a few more years...

The 0-60 numbers are amazing as are the hp/torque numbers - will be a screamer.

Looks wise car looks a bit bloated - too round for me. Grilles are too big - and give it a cartoonish look. Tail lights are Lexusish. Hate the tips - round tips look much better on the 330 - these 'lexus' tips are too luxe and not enough sport.

I am sure this car will sell well - but with the numbers the 330 is putting out - I winder how many will spring extra fit the 340

So based on this design language, going forward it's safe to assume that BMW is attempting to add visual differentiation in its hierarchy through its Twin Kidney Grille design.

M Performance Automobiles will be getting the "mesh grille", full M models will continue with the "double slat" grille and regular series BMWs will have the traditional "single slat".

I'm wondering if the Z4 adheres to this logic since most, if not all, of the photos we've seen are of the M40i model with the "mesh" grille.

Glad they didn't start with the G01

I'm starting to think that they did it on purpose because too many people complained that f30 m-Sport looked to close to F80.

This is what happens when 11 designers get into a fight WHILE designing. Disaster!

Wouldn't it make sense that the X3 and 3 series are similar in size, minus the height? Just curious
