New X2 M-sport X

Picked up an X2 for my wife this morning, less than a month after I got my M3 CS. These are our first BMWs, used to have an S4/Q5 combo a few years ago, went to Porsche and now at BMW.

Specs:
-xdrive (standard in canada)
-M sport x with 19s
-Magma Red leather (I would call it burnt orange)
-Enhanced premium
-Rails

Got an amazing deal on it, makes up for the CS at close to list

This replaces a 2018 Golf GTI. That was a great little car, much more fun to drive than X2 but needed the AWD and a little bit more space.

Hard to beat this one in the looks department. Real stunner. Car was originally spec'd with the 20" wheels but had the dealer swap to the 19s which look just as good with better ride.

Impressed to see the expected range at 700km+. At 250km the light comes on in the M3

Was a little bit disappointed to see that there is no red in magma red, its 100% orange. It still looks ok but not sure if we would have chosen this had we actually seen it before.

Looking forward to driving this in the winter to see how it performs.

Nice, I will be buying the same color combination with M-sport for my wife. Apparently not too many around with that color combo, especially with the options I want. May have to order.

Congrats on the new x2. I've had mine since May and I love it.

Very Nice! I'm looking at one of these for my wife. The one I'm currently inquiring about is Alpine White/Black Leather and has the MsportX pkg. This would be her first BMW ever so If she ends up getting a non-Msport that would be fine with the both of us...after all we're not trying to impress anyone with our vehicles. All she really wants is Xenon headlights and a heated steering wheel.

Hopefully We'll land one of these vehicles in the near future and I'll be able to sign up another BMW CCA member (instead of co-member) & of course another bimmerpost contributor.

BTW We're both young adults, 37 years old. No kids yet n moving forward into the future as a small family. An X1/X2 fits as that's what she's after and when it comes to buying a New BMW these cars are a versatile vehicles.

Nice, I really like the roof rack, was that put on at the dealer or from the factory?

I would say this is on the small side for kids under 4 years old. This is when space is more of a concern with the rear facing seats and hauling strollers etc. Now that they are 4 and 7 we don't need as much space so X2 is fine.

Roof Rails are factory, cross bars are just dealer or self installed, not even port. Takes 5 minutes to do.
