Winter Tires and Rims for M2

Good Day everyone! I just purchased my first 18 M2 this past Thursday. I wanted some recommendations on winter tires and wheels? Or if anybody has some for sale.

I have not decided yet if I want to drive it much this winter. I may get a winter beater just not sure how it handles in the snow. Any recommendations? I live in New Jersey so the weather is not terrible but we do get some storms.

Hey! Welcome to the group. Not far from you here in Burlington. I decided not to drive my M2 during the winter, but I did look on tire rack for a winter wheel/tire package. They have a few options varying on price from 1300-^^^^.

I did see them on tire rack. BMW also had winter packages with the rims and tires on their website. Still doing my research. For about the same price of rims and tires I can get a cheap winter car and beat the heck out of it. We will see. I'm also in Burlington County, I live in Florence right up Route 130. If you see a gray M2 riding around that's me.

Cool! I've got LBB so I'll def. keep an eye out for you. I'm usually driving around in my old 528i or X5.

Actually I am purchasing a set of Conti DWS Extreme Contact for on my stock wheels. I just wanted to have something on the car so if in Jan. or Feb. we get some decent weather I can take it out if the weather isn't too ugly. I hate to leave it set all winter. I'll be purchasing some new summer wheels Feb/Mar for the summer tires. I have a set of DWS on my 95' Eclipse GSX for the winters and I have been pleased with them. I generally use stock wheels for the winter and buy different aftermarket wheels for the summer on most of my cars.

If you want actual winter tires, I had the Sanzotto's (sp?) on my 335 for 4 winters and just purchased Michelin Alpin's for the upcoming winter.

I live north of Philly in Norristown. I have a 2017 and I do not drive it in the winter unless its dry, sunny and there are salt free roads.

I did the Apex group but last year, looks like they're doing it again this year. Tire rack may have some cheaper options but I like Apex wheels.
