Adding the TV option

Apparently I can add the TV option by way of an FSC and some clever coding - is this true and if so, who can do this? vorph I guess?

You need the TV module which is around £400:

Better to just take your iPad with you, larger screen and more channels available, plus catch up and Youtube etc.

Balls - I was advised that all I'd need is some coding as all the gubbins is present eg the TV tuner is present in Pro Nav with factory EBT etc.

If TV is anything like a friend of mine who had an E60 (OK, quite a while ago now) it was pretty pants, had to find somewhere to park where the signal was good enough which was suprisingly difficult even in London

These days when you can use iPlayer and the like to watch live TV on a phone (which on later cars you can use CarPlay I think) the built in DVB tuner doesnt look a great option

I think they should have a hdmi slot built in so you can add your own like a fire stick or apple TV.

Would either of these work without wifi or can you tether them to a mobile phone for internet access ?
