Moving to g31 530d xdrive

After nearly 3 years in my f31 330d I’ve decided to get into a 5 series. Most of my miles are on the motorway so decided to go diesel again after a lot of soul-searching. Ordered way back in July and only just had delivery confirmed for early November. The comfort and refinement is way ahead of the 3-series. Here’s hoping they’ve fixed that for those waiting for the g20/21!

Dealer said 3 months initially and they had no available build slots. Wonder if it got caught up up in WLTP thing?

I had an F11 3.0d for a while. Lovely car, but its size eventually made me realise it wasn't the driver's car I wanted. My F31 335i is a much better car in that respect, but refinement is definitely a step down - especially road noise. I do hope the G21 is a big step up in that department otherwise I can see me going back to a 5 when the time comes.
