comfort access and remote fob shenangians...help!
hello all
long time reader, first time poster I recently acquired a new-to-me 2011 E91 328XI. Please see below for description of my issue and thank you in advance for any help: Issue Fob -both remote fobs work intermittently to lock/unlock (no rhyme or reason) -battery changed in both Comfort access: -if i try to start car without fob in slot, no go. But if I put fob into slot, remove from slot, it will then start keyless. Key not detected message will then pop up. -comfort access on door handles does not work Diagnostics/background info -Checked diversity amplifier. No signs of water intrusion/corrosion. Clean up with contact cleaner and reinstalled. -Checked passive go module. No signs of water intrusion/corrosion. Clean up with contact cleaner and reinstalled. -Fuse #61 is popped. Went through door handle check, seems like drivers door handle is no good. From what i understand, door locking and comfort access are two separate systems. Any help is much appreciated  |

cr2032's 3 dollars at a drug store or 10 for 5 bucks mailed to your door on ebay. Also how strong it the car battery ? over 12.2 when resting? electical e90 pdf http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...,d.cGU&cad=rja http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU There are sensors on the front door handles that are part of the comfort access system. See electrical system pdf 2 for comfort access explanation. Last edited by ctuna; 10-12-2018 at 06:18 PM.. |
