Rubbing with 275/30 20" Tyres on a non-xDrive car?
I currently have 265/30 on the rears and have no issues at all. I want a bit more sidewall and contact on the road so am looking into 275/30.
Anybody used this size and can confirm there are no issues with rubbing, even when the boots loaded up or you're carrying a few people? Obviously this is for an aftermarket set of wheels, so people with stock sizes, don't worry about it! |

My car has 265 rears on 403M with 12mm spacers; Ohlins Road & Track all round (substantially lower than stock) - no rubbing.
Unless you are aggressive with the offsets for the aftermarket rims I think 275 will be OK.

Tyre selection is also a factor. I noticed that the MP4S has a more bulging sidewall than the MPSS that I was running previously (they had a more square section tread/sidewall).
