1) I like it overall
2) I think the big problem with the grilles is just the amount of chrome. Either all black, or silver outline with black fins will look MUCH better
3) Interested to see how the M Sport / wheels improve the look
4) Funny, I really like the new X5, but now the X7 immediately makes it look a "step down"

X5 is a nice evolution. The x7 went to far with the grill, too big and too much Chrome. The rims are too gangster. The lights also look boring compared to x5. The side and rear is decent.

It's only a 6 seater.. What's the point? I was thinking that it'll have 7-8 seats. Would rather buy a Yukon Denali.

Don’t understand why the badge placement keeps moving around on these SAVs (above taillights then below, now up too again)

Also is there no metric available for X5 third row?

It looks like the 6 seats is required with the optional second-row captains chairs. I'd like to see what the second- and third-row benches look like.

IMO, x7 from design standpoint looks like a real x5 f15 successor especially with front and rear lights, and new x5 looks like new x3 COMPARED to x7..my opinion

If I squint my eyes, the grill(s) sorta look like the massive grill on a rolls.

X7 is a clean classy design worthy of a flagship. Makes the X5 design look busy. I really like the thinner headlights!

So X5, X6, and X7 will all have the same interior?

Are you surprised? Audi's Q5 and Q7 share pretty much the same interior and I would imagine Mercedes will do the same with the GLE and GLS and use the same design as every current Mercedes model when they release the next generation.

Because they probably share a platform with the cullinan. It's the only reason the x7 even happened

RR Sport has the X5 one upped on looks still, but overall it's not as well-rounded a product. There are more cheap bits inside, the tech is so-so, and it's not at all "fun" to drive. Leasing is more expensive than BMW's competitive rates.

With that being said, it surely tugs at the heart strings more. Give it 1 year and every household in town will have the new X5 in its driveway. RR Sport, for as popular as it is, still feels more exclusive.

X7 is very frumpy and a looks like a semi-truck.

Sure they'll sell plenty, but I'll never consider it a "real" BMW.

The front end is very dynamic and nice, but the rear end looks already outdated, I really prefer the old and new X5

When the F95 arrives in 18 months, then we can revisit if its still a "step down".
