I’ve only had the car for about 2 weeks and I got a chance to take it out on a nearby mountain road today for a little fun. I caught up to an SUV and he was nice enough to use a turnout, but he didn’t plan it very well. He ended up stopped on a blind curve with about 3 feet of his car still in the traffic lane.
I was slowing down and expecting him to get off the road and hesitated to go into the oncoming lane because of the curve. The car beeped and went into heavy braking on it’s own as I decided to go around him.
All in all it was kind of interesting. I wasn’t going to hit him, but now I know that it really works. I think I will adjust it in IDrive from “Early” to “Medium” or whatever the next setting is.
It was a great drive. Loving the car, but still 800 miles on that break in...
