Long time Bimmerpost member; new F10 owner. After a few years away from BMW — kids, work, volvos, etc. — I'm very happy to be back.

Picked her up last week. 2015 CPO 535i xDrive M Sport. Loving every minute.

I do have some modest cosmetic plans: gloss black grills, m performance spoiler, maybe light tint. But I'm also curious as to what common subtle performance mods people typically employ? Don't want to mess with anything too crazy; I do quite a bit of highway travel and really appreciate the sublime nature of the F10 highway cruise. That said, a bit more sound and grunt under WOT would be nice. Any input is appreciated.

Congrats and sweet ride!

As for performance, I'd recommend a JB+ or JB4 tuner. Also an intake. These are just a few easy ones but you go more with catless downpipes, full exhaust and a few more

Congrats on the pick up! As far as subtle exterior mods I can only see a M5 spoiler.

Painted reflectors (body color) from IND Distribution. Gets rid of the reflectors on your front wheel arch and under the rear taillights. Easy install.

Also you can wrap your side markers and door handles in black vinyl too (or buy black fender trim from IND).

maybe debadge or put black 550i badges on the back...

subtle exterior mods would be m5 parts. spoiler, diffuser and maybe a mtech style front bumper lip.

I have almost the same car, couple years older but same color and interior.
Though I see you have the heated wheel. I miss that.
I would do the tint and m performance exhaust, otherwise I love it as is.
Congrats

Get a Sprintbooster.... it'll knock your socks off and installs in about 8mins. I have a DINAN stage 1 kit, and I have to admit that the Sprintbooster was way more awakening.

Been thinking about M perf exhaust. Or perhaps Dinan. Wondering which produces less drone inside the cabin.

Thanks....but pardon my ignorance. What's a sprintbooster?

Not a worry. It’s an in-line reprogramming module for the drive by wire system. It plugs in under your gas pedal, and it deletes that lag between pressing the gas pedal and accelating response.

Here is a link to a great review that convinced me to get one.

i 2nd this! awesome device, works well! just make sure to follow the directions to install it IE turn the car off and move the key about 20-30 ft away from the car and leave the drivers door open for 20 mins then remove the gas pedal (you have to wait for the car to go to sleep) make sure all connections are tight and then start up...

I don't think it's a good idea to install a JB4 considering he has a CPO warranty. They might refuse to work on any drivetrain issue, if you ever come across that.

Good point. I'm thinking of sticking to bolt-on mods for the time being....

I have an aftermarket warranty. I used to just take mine off before taking it into the dealer and they never had an issue with it.

Sweet ride! Enjoy it. I'd think about Sprint booster later on and light tints.

most guys remove the JB4 before services and it's been said that the Dealer couldn't prove whether you had one installed or not.

Congratulations. Space Gray is one of my fav colors and that steering wheel looks brand new, wow!

I highly recommend OEM M-Performance exhaust. It bolts right on and wont void your warranty and sounds awesome. I really like mine.

I would also install M5 spoiler and the black grills as you mentioned.

I felt like sprint booster was a complete waste of money and sold it couple of months after owning it. There are many debates over this which you can research / read if it is something that you are considering.
