Ordering my 335i AW/CR for $46,700!

Just went to the dealer and had it priced out.
2008 335i AW/CR with navigation, ipod adapter, steptronic with paddle shifters, and heated seats. MSRP was $49,125, I got it down to $46,700.
Should I keep trying to bring it down? How much lower do you think I can bring it to and does this price sound reasonable based on what they are going for in the market?

PS. I hate doing the whole "make 2 dealers bid against each other" but I think it might have to be done to save a little more.

very nice! 2009 model?
and don't worry about the two dealers bickering - it's business and we consumers should not have to pay the stealership - take what you can!

No 2008, I don't feel like waiting till late October for the car (if i am even lucky to get in in October).

My invoice is $45,200 I think so I am not going to bitch and try to get him down to $45,700. Maybe I'll try and get him to throw in the comfort access in for free though. (i know im a hypocrite)

I feel like I am missing options though, I got the premium pckg, cold weather pckg, and sports pckg, with the navi, but does this set-up include bluetooth?

I got $800 below invoice on my 335 E92 last month. Another dealer was offering the full $1200 below invoice on any car in stock.

There was factory to dealer incentive for $1200...so you might want to ask if that is still available.

Otherwise, I don't think asking for invoice is out of question. It's a slow time for BMW sales wise.

Still available but only on automatics. Last month it was offered on both transmissions but with 3.9% financing. Now BMW abolished incentive $$ on 6MT but added 1.9% financing (only for previous ownership).

$46,000 with comfort access added in to the features listed above.

I think that is the final price that I will get it down to...we'll see.
I keep getting different numbers when I calculate my invoice, anyone know what the invoice on my car is with what i have listed?
When i told another dealer to do $45,500 with the same features, the lady said it was already below invoice...

Yea I guess I pushed them to the max.

Here is an email for you guys to see from another dealership that I had competing with my current dealership that offered me $46k.

------------------------------------------

Hello ******,

I've reviewed the pricing for the 335i Coupe that you are interested in and the numbers just don't add up. I have your options as follows:

* 335i Coupe Alpine White
* Cold weather package
* Premium Package
* Sport Package
* Paddle shifters
* Automatic
* Navigation
* Ipod adapter
* Comfort access
* destination

The price you said was quoted to you of $45,500 is not a price I can offer you. If there are any discrepencies in either price or options please let me know.

Sincerely,

*******

---------------------------

So now you guys know the maximum that you can drop the price. The dealer refused to even get near that price! She did not say we can work on it, she said forget it! lol

That made me feel good tough because I know I am getting the best price possible now and from the best dealer in NY (from what i have read).

Did you mean below MSRP? If it was below invoice, that's a steal deal.

No LA Dealers go for "At Invoice", even for "Slow Time".

I changed my deal Saturday when I went to leave the deposit.

My mother and father came in with me, and they told me to get the e93 instead...so I went for the convertible.

With all the options except for ACC and Active Steering, it came out to 53,000 without tax.

That's below INVOICE. It's because of a factory to dealer incentive on the 335 coupes. There is still one this month, but it's only for automatics.

MSRP on my car was around $50300...I got it for $46K or something around there.

I only worked through the Internet Sales depts. You can negotiate over email with 3 or 4 dealers at once, without having to step foot into a dealership.

Can't get my the Internet-guy to cooperate like yours. Invoice price is the best offer I have so far, including $1200-Auto/Steptronic in the deal.

It's still a great deal for the 3s, nonetheless.

That's awesome deal... would you mind sharing dealer information? Even though I am in LA, SF is only "SouthWest" away and playing golf in Monterey would be priceless...

Please help..

East Bay BMW
Concord BMW

Both internet Depts were willing to go below invoice.
SF BMW matched them as well.

I was able to make an order on the car.

Dealer just called and said all slots are filled for 2008 and I would have to wait for the 2009. Price went up from $53,050 to $54,350 since the $1,200 rebate does not apply anymore.

Anyone know how much the 80gig HD is for the new iDrive?
