Anyone had luck fitting 18"x9” ET30 rims with 255/35-18 on a E90?

A few months back I picked up a set of Apex SM-10 18"x9” ET30 wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 255/35-18 Extreme summer tires for my stock 335d. I had originally planned on getting a smaller setup, 18x8.5" ET35 or ET38 with 235/40-18s, as recommended on their site but was persuaded by one of their techs that the larger tires would fit with out issue and the extra rubber would be better for all the glorious diesel torque. They showed up a few days later, I got them all mounted up and I had got to tell you, it's a killer looking setup. I was super stoked with my purchase.

A few days later I got out on the highway with them and as soon as I got up to speed they started rubbing on nearly every bump in the road. I had a fender roller handy and figured they might just need a little room so I tucked them in about as far as I could which helped some but they still rubbed a lot more than I would have liked. I then reached out to Apex, who was super responsive, and their recommendation was to get the car realigned and add some additional camber to tuck them in even further. I finally got around to doing it a few weeks ago and while it was better they still rub at least a few times a day on my commute. It gets even worse if there's anyone else in the car which also happens to be super embarrassing.

At this point I'm running out of ideas and feel like if I keep it the way it is I'm just shredding tires. The only thing I can think to do is go back to the alignment shop and see if they can add even more camber but I'm afraid it's getting to the point that it's getting ridiculous. This is really not how I wanted my $2900 purchase to go.

My question to everyone is has anyone actually gotten this configuration to fit on a stock E90?? If so, please share whatever you had to do to make it fit. Another set of rims and tires isn't really in the budget at this point and I'd hate to scrap these things and go back to my stock rims.

I run a 18x9 ET30 ARC-8 square setup with 255/35/18 tires all around with ZERO rubbing on the stock sport suspension. I even have 15mm spacers in the rear making it ET15 without any rubbing.

I am running Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires which don't have very squared shoulders.

I run 18x9 ET20 on mine in the rear with no rubbing. with 255/35's I believe. The 18x8 ET20 on the front I had to drop to a 225/40 the 235/40's rubbed at full lock.

I wonder if the sport suspension is the secret to making this work. It's kind of odd, the front drivers side rarely hits any more, the front passengers hits if I look at a bump the wrong way and the rears are a crap shoot... It just depends on the size of the bump.

This setup should be an easy fit.

How many miles on the car?

Regardless, I would swap out the rear dampers ASAP. I run a much taller tire with a more aggressive offset and only had problems rubbing in the rear with stock dampers. After upgrading to Bilsteins, I never rubbed once...even after going with a way more aggressive offset via thicker spacers.
