Not 100% sure where I should post these questions but thought I would start here.

I am picking up my Singapore Grey F90 M5 this Wednesday out of state and will be bringing it back to AZ. I need to get the windows tinted and my local dealer has two options: Ceramic: $350, Nano (he said Nana I swear but sure he meant Nano?) $600. I think my M4 currently has the base ceramic tint and it has held up well. I asked about the differences between the two and they indicated the Nano blocks more UV light. AZ is a 33% light state in the front windows, I was thinking to do the 33% in the front and rear passenger windows and something darker in the back window. Anyone have thoughts on the type of tint or how dark to go?

I also have a clear bra on my M4 that covers the front bumper from top to bottom and goes about halfway up my hood. It has been great at protecting the vehicle from little rocks, etc from the road scratching up the paint. Can you put a clear bra on the front like this when you have the carbon fiber front splitters? I don't see why that would not be ok but thought I would ask.

I just tinted my M5 yesterday. Went with Llumar/FormulaOne classic (dye only, non ceramic) 30% on the front and rear side windows and 15% on the back glass. Have always used that combination because the larger back glass allows more light in the car so with that combo is actually makes everything look harmonious and even.

Wow.... I taught by low you need to have 70% or higher on front.

thats correct, my FOP shield gets me out of alot.

SG here as well.

Went 20% Ceramic and Xpel PPF (front bumper and fenders, hood, mirrors, headlights, side skirts and rear bumper).

I figure I can still use the real/side shades too which makes it even darker

I have suntek ultra PPF on full hood, front fenders, front bumpers, side mirrors and trunk ledge. Worth every penny.

For tint I did llumar ctx 40% all around except for windshield.

I also applied ceramic coating myself as well.

I did 3m color stable 20 all around except windshield. From the outside at certain 90 degree angles you cant see in, really depends on the sun and your angle. If you want black this is the way to go.

Beautiful! Alpine White with that tint really pops! Did you have rear privacy glass on the car from the factory?

I went 30% ceramic on all windows. Nothing on windshield. Going back to get front done next week. Also did Expel ppf on al front end components, headlights, hood, a pillars, and 8” on the roof.

US cars didn't come with rear tint. Usually only our SUVs and trucks do.

Did not come with tint on rear. I did the same on the rear window.
