Going for an M4 CS look on my M2

I was going for a M4 CS look. I wanted to do the 20" rears and 19" fronts as per the CS and keep the standard CS tyre sizes.

I have Eibach lowering springs on standard dampers

Front Wheels are 19" x 9.5" ET45 with a 20mm spacer, bringing the ET down to 25. Tyres are 265 x 35 R19's Michelin Pilot Super Sports

Rear Wheels are 20" x 10" ET45 with a 10mm spacer bringing the ET down to 35. Tyres are 285 x 30 R20's Michelin Pilot Super Sports

I've had two of us in the car, with a boot full of heavy stuff and no rubbing to speak of. Front wheels turn lock to lock without touching.

The wheels aren't genuine as I thought 5k for a new set or even 2.5k for a second hand set, was a bit over the top. So yes, they are fakes, but good quality ones and I think they look the part.

Hope you like it as much as me.

Sean..

You could have purchased new OEM with tyres for £2500-2600 from many dealers discounting heavy on the M3/M4 spec 763M.

I’m guessing by the time you bought fakes, tyres and spacers / extended bolts you were likely around 2k anyway ?

I’m guessing the fakes are not too light ?

They do look good though.

The fakes are TUV approved and are similar in weight to the standard wheels. I used the original rear tyres on the front and purchased two new rears.

The wheels were 550, tyres 450, spacers and bolts 200, so all in about £1,200.

Look really good, couldn't have said they were fakes from the pics. Guessing these are circmn supplied? How did you get the tyres for £450? I'll have a set at that price, PM me if you like!

Car looks great, size of wheels and style suit the M2 really well.

Wouldn’t mind knowing the source of tyres at that price myself.
