Poor DAB Reception

Hi All. I am the proud new owner of an X3 30d M Sport. I love everything about it apart from the DAB reception. It drop out a lot (certainly a lot more than my previous Audi).
Has anyone else encountered this?

Thanks

Congrats on new car

My DAB seems OK, no drop outs so far that I have noticed, I had a X5 with DAB previously and there were a couple of certain spots around here where it would drop the signal but only for a few seconds whereas X3 is fine in same locations

It maybe though we have a strong signal here

It's the digital radio broadcast system in Europe

Digital Audio Broadcasting. It's the standard used to transmit digital radio stations from ground based transmitters in Europe, Asia and elsewhere (but not the USA).

Thanks for this. It was happening randomly on the M1 for some reason. I expect it when crossing the Pennines, but outside Sheffield?

If it keeps happening I'll take it in.

Its still great to be back in a BMW, and my first SUV.
