Can't change media tracks from steering wheel?
Picked up a new F39 over the weekend. Quite impressed with this small SAV, and liking it more than the F48 we test drove previously. Almost an entirely different car, which is impressive given how similar they actually are underneath the "clothes."
Anyway, I can't seem to figure out how to change music tracks from the steering wheel. Playing music from my iPhone X (iOS 12.1) via Bluetooth, pushing and/or rotating the switch on the right-hand spoke of the steering wheel only brings up the name of the track currently playing. Rotating the switch, pushing it, rotating and pushing it doesn't do anything. Do you really have to use the track forward/back button on the center console to switch tracks?? |

I have the X2 with Heads Up Display, and when I push the steering wheel switch you are referring to, it brings up the title of the song currently playing onto my windshield with the 'back arrow' above it and the 'forward arrow' below. If I scroll down and then push the switch once more it fast forwards to the next song. So, maybe push the switch, scroll down and then push again and see if that works?
