Angry issue!

Hi guys, today I just received my VRSF catless downpipe. I was so excited to install it. Everything goes smoothly UNTIL the fk clamp connect between the downpipe to the midpipe get welded and I can not put back the new one. WTF is that. I thought my DIY will be successful, but who know this happen. Tomorrow, I have to go to the shop and let them cut the clamp and install the rest for me. So Angry!!

Welded or rusted? Seems like an odd thing to have been welded.

It got welded not rusted. I have a new clamp but i can not put it back because the old clamp is still there. By the way, I drive the car tomorrow to the shop near by. Can the car still drive without the O2 sensors?

Don't drive the car without the O2 sensors in. The DME relies on their data for the engine to run properly.

Also, my downpipe to mid pipe clamp was spot welded as well, but 10 minutes with the right drill bit fixed that problem. If it's a spot weld like mine was, I would just go to Home Depot and get a grinding wheel drill bit and you'll be able to grind it off in a matter of minutes. If it's fully welded though, you're better off taking it to a shop.
