M2 Comp W/ 15mm spacers

I know, I know, I know... more spacers but hear me out...I have been lurking on here far a while and i obviously came here to see what the "experts" had been doing when it's been coming to modifications. I went with the Burger tuning 15mm spacers all around after seeing it being done on a few of the lowered cars on here(i'm still on stock height) Something I wasn't able to see however, was solid before and after photos... so i made sure to take a few side-by-sides. Hope this helps some one else in the future=)

The tires stick out too much. You should not be able to see the tire protruding beyond the exterior leading edge of the fender tops. Honestly, I feel the stock offset is fine. If you feel compelled to do anything, I'd go no more than 7mm.

I hope you replaced the OEM PPF with larger pieces on the rear quarters.

15mm is too much for this car as the above mentioned. Helpful reference photos though, thanks for posting.

It looks this way just cause it's stock height, once lowered it will look much better.

Many people did 15 all around on the M2 and lowered they looked good.

I was running 12f and 10r.

This is one car that does NOT need spacers. For once the mfg speced decent offsets.

If that was true nobody would have put spacers on the old M2..

I understand the 437 and 788 wheels have same specs dimensions wise. Same offset etc.

Many people put spacers on it because once lowered the car had the wheel look more sunken.

I will be running same 10r and 12f I had on my M2 once I lower my M2 Competition.

Dude, a centimeter and a half is too much. Maybe do half a centimeter all around or half in the back and 3/4 or one up front. Or just do nothing.

The way you have it right now you will probably have to respray your back bumper soon. Stuff picked up by yr rear tires will scrape the skin of your bumper.

I don't understand why people want to mess with spacers and affect their scrub radius and suspension geometry. I don't know how significant it is, but it definitely changes things.

I agree. After looking at the M2C my local dealer had on the floor I thought the rears we're about perfect. If anything id consider 5mm up front and nothing at the rear. Obviously this is subjective, however.

Lowered a bit--not too much--with Ohlins R&T coil-overs, first set at recommended height, then adjusted some for corner balancing. Running 12mm spacers up front and 10mm in the rear. Tires sit just about flush with no poke. Handling is better than ever after upgrades, alignment and balancing.

Looks great. I'm on KW V3 running 10mm up front and 7.5 in the rear and super happy with it as well (sorry for the stylized photo it's all I have on hand)
