Folding side mirros...

Hey guys sorry if this was a topic somewhere else but can you program the side mirrors to fold automatically when you shut down the car? Surprised because I have never seen a pic of the car with the folded mirrors which is odd. Thanks

There's a setting in the idrive where you can check a box and choose to have mirrors that fold in on lock... No need for coding on mirrors...

Yup, and don't worry if you do remote 3D view, it will unfold and fold back in

I just picked up my M5 from a week's stay at the detailer's. Had Xpel, window tint, and Ceramic Pro applied, so it stayed there a week. I picked it up today and the guy said he couldn't figure out why the mirrors kept unfolding, one time while he was applying the Xpel to them. Of course, I was checking on its position and progress with remote view. I just smiled and feigned ignorance!
