2 Limp Modes in 4 Days

So, I first threw a reduced engine power light a week after I got my car. I attributed it to 3rd gear rev limiter. I plugged the exhaust valve plug back in for a bit, and couldnt reproduce the problem. That was at about 1000 miles, if that. Since then, no problems until this past week.
I cruising at 40 mph in 4th gear, AC on, real humid day out. All of a sudden, light comes on, half engine power. I pull over, shut it off, start it back up, all is fine. Yesterday, a/c is off, windows down on the highway, 6th gear, I go full throttle to about 120 mph, light goes on again.
I noticed that while in reduced power mode, in 2nd gear I'm boosting up to 7 psi, but in 3rd, only 5 psi. Pretty irrelevant to the problem anyways.
I have SSTT, DV's, and dual cones, and the exhaust valve unplugged. No boost leaks anywhere, so I think I'll take a trip to the dealer.

could be your windows? Are they tinted? joking ... sorry bro, don't know what it could be...i have an aftermarket exhaust on the car and I have the exhaust valve unplugged obviously from the stock exhaust and because it doesn't have a spot to go on the new exhaust, i just plugged it with a screw i found...i wouldn't leave that valve completely unplugged even if you're doing only a golf-tee mod..

Take out the SSTT and try to reproduce it. Also, try bypassing one solenoid and see if it can be reproduced as well....

Try both of those things (bypass first) and come and report back. Once you do that it might be easier to diagnose it....

Look on pages 13-14 and do that to your car. Be careful when pulling the solenoids off, make sure to pull straight out and not sideways.

Give that a shot and see if the limps come back. I have a feeling that they wont.

Wouldn't it also be helpful to know what codes were thrown, if any - That is assuming you have access to a code reader.

Limp modes dont always throw codes. Usually check engine lights, or service engine soon lights do.
