No more dinan??

I just recently purchased the 08 335i and was planning on sending the ecu to be flashed by dinan at an dinan authorized bmw dealership.
The closest one is at albuquerque and i live in pretty far from that. They had told me that i would be able to send the ecu by itself to be flashed but now my sa said they cant and i have to go with my whole car to do the install in albuquerque.
He said that bmw is planning to come out with their own performance upgrades and are trying to close all ties with dinan... this sucks now i have to drive all the way to albuerque. any insight on this?

i dont think 335s from 2008 (post-March builds) are supported yet.

Yup, not until Friday maybe. At that point you may still have to ship your ECU to Dinan. I'm curious as to whether you can do this yourself or if you still have to pay a BMW shopt to do this.

Just be patient, the flash for your DME is coming soon.

As far as "No More Dinan" goes, just the usual BS.
