There is an existing thread on this topic where I shared my F15 settings that I have not yet tested on the G05:

Ill share my settings after I get a second to go and look at them - I used an RTA to calibrate them to a reasonable curve with a boosted top end to account for my ancient ears.

PBG - awaiting eagerly. I'm coming out of an E70 with HK upgrade and used settings that were commonly found to be better than factory defaults. Made a BIG difference. I reset my E70 back to factory before trading it in this week and there was a noticeable difference (defaults sounded flat/muddled). My fader had to be adjusted quite a bit to the rear to balance the system well

So this is basically where I'm at right now. It's a touch heavy in the bass when stationary but lets the low end through without the overly punchy mid-bass hump and takes the brightness out of the snare drum. It also brings the treble up to a manageable level (for my older ears, you may tone it down if it's too bright for you.

Thank you! I'll give those a shot - still letting the speakers break in a bit. Thank you for sharing that! My ears are getting there as well ;-)

My Audi A6 had the B&O system, which was brighter overall but seemed to have a little more low-end bass, but it's hard to tell. Under the seat subwoofers vs rear shelf subwoofer changes the sound a lot.

I'd almost pay extra for a 30-band EQ with an amplifier setup strong enough to handle the adjustments. Seems the graphic EQ in the HK system is a bit, weak, and only rough octave-level adjustments which leaves a lot of unevenness on the RTA.

I have mine dialed in well but on the surround settings, is all the way right place the sound stage to the rear? I have yet to find the HK info in the manual.

I’ve been playing around with mine. In the old days, most people set equalizers to a sort of bell curve shape. But I’m going to try some of the ones you posted here.

I have to put my fader to the rear to sound balanced (to me). Maybe different settings will fix that.

Anyone tried actual multichannel music from DVD-A, SACD or Blu-ray audio sources? It actually works, at least with compressed flac files. My previous vehicle wouldn’t play anything over about 600 kbps and never rendered the channels properly but this one does, I just need to try the full bandwidth files to see if they will play reliably.
