For the rear seats? The car has a USB A and USB C up front and two USB-c in the rear.

Apple's iPad Pro 3 uses USB-C cables so now I have double use for those expensive cables.

My front and console ports are both USB-C.
I use a BMW plug in the power port which gives me two regular USB ports.

I plan on ordering some adapters for existing cables. Some pretty cheap ones on amazon. Just bought a whole bunch of Apple and Samsung cables.

Cheaper USB-C to Lightning cables could arrive as early as February 2019
It’s been a long wait for Apple to give its blessing to third-party USB-C to Lightning cables. At the moment, if you want to get a cable that allows your iPhone to fast charge, then you’ll have to opt for Apple’s own model, which currently starts at $19. https://www.theverge.com/circuitbrea...s-release-date 1m Apple Lightning to USB-C cable on Amazon

Don’t expect the music playback to work properly when plugged in this way, because, at present, it will not. You will repeatedly get put on repeat and also will be unable to navigate using the steering wheel or iDrive controls. It does the same by Bluetooth, though.

The ONLY way to fast charge your iPhones, you'll need to use the Apple USB-C to lightning cable.
Hopefully the USB-C ports in the G05 support 20V, 5A USB-C PD (power delivery) specification or fast charging for any device is all a moot point. BIf you don't care about fast charging and have USB to lightning cables laying around, get a USB-C adapter.
