Super new deal- read if you plan to buy

Hello,

Just wanted to share, I was under the gun to find a car before ye since my custom build wouldn’t make it by year end.

Bottom line- I got a super probably best deal with great confidence so far. I received a 6500 discount which is $1k over invoice on my 92k g05. And it did not include the $2k bmw financial so total $8500 bucks off or $1k under invoice.

It was a good build not a bunch of things not needed either.

Didn’t need to negotiate much and manager a dream to work with on pricing. I am out of state and they are sending paperwork to me.

It is bmw crown in Midlothian VA. Don’t usually advertise for anyone- but man it was a good deal and anyone looking to buy by year end or in general - they are easy to work with. FYI I am out of state in Midwest. It was tough getting 3% off on my custom build or something around there on dealer I. Stock.

that's a good deal but not great. Other members, including myself have gotten ~6.1% + incentives. For example my car was $97960 so I got $5889 off plus $3500 in incentives then the BMWCCA of $1000 for a grand total of 10.6% off MSRP before tax. My price is under invoice no matter how you look at it but invoice is meaningless these days.

Invoice on my car is about $92k for reference

Maybe he's doing a courtesy delivery? Unlikely but that's what I'm doing because it saves you paying for transit (the $995 delivery fee) plus a private courier from whatever dealer

It seems like a hell of a deal compared to all the dealers I had inquired in my region. Of course I was going to build- just want to provide some easier options and savings if some one is looking to buy a bmw. Which I never knew they existed u til today via cars.com search.

I did not qualify for certain discounts etc except bmw FS and the bmwcca once I get papaerwork. So that would apples to apples be not far off on discount- validating I saved some $$. $9500 on $92k not bad, given I don’t have military or existing bmw discount.

Hopefully this helps take the sting after 5 years and the car depreciates to peanuts.

Any deal above 6% before incentives is good (more is better after incentives or course). How are you transporting the car over? My discount was on a custom order not dealer inventory so a little different. The military incentive isn't that good for active duty stateside, USAA is only $500 but ever bit counts I suppose. I assume you're getting a 50i as well?

They are transporting to me, which I do have to pay. It is a 5.0. It would be crazy to see a 92k 4.0 v6. Is that possible? This is for my wife, but I may occasionally drive it on a weekend- hence the necessary spec of v8, M-Sport, 21”, m sport brakes etc etc. if not would not be drivable! Lol.

Well since it's not a mustang there's no 5.0 only a 50i. As for the 40i it's an inline 6 and I believe you can option one up to $92k with individual options, I'll have to check the ordering guide.

Pls forgive me for my typing. Yes 50i. - At 92k for a base- we are at cayenne base category with a sport design pkg and pretty loaded.etc.

Whole point is to inform fellow members of my delighted recent experience that this dealer gave this type of discount with minimal to no negotiations and all my local dealers in my area were pretty rigid at 3-4% and I would have to probably fight tooth and nail to get this amount if even possible from them.

Still big savings for me even with additional few hundred to ship over.

May be something for a SoCal buyer to consider since I know some markets have too many customers and minimal discounts in new models.- ex.gnew m5 is probably close to list out in west coast.

As long as you are pleased then it is a great deal. Enjoy the car.
