There's nothing wrong with seeking knowledge. Don't apologize for your ignorance. Do use proper grammar and punctuation, though. It's a good habit.

As for the Dinan software, it's simply a computer program "flash" that overwrites the existing computer software in the car. It has different fuel maps, boost levels, spark advances, etc. All of the necessary parameters to increase power safely and reliably are mapped by Dinan engineers.

Simply put, the "Stage I" software doesn't increase the turbocharger boost as much as the "Stage II" software, so it makes less power (and costs less).

I have the Stage 1 update and have only lost about 1 mpg just doing normal driving. You can drain the gas tank pretty quickly with really spirited driving, but that's true with the stock tune too. I'm overall very pleased with the Dinan update.

Amazing. I guess having a rich mommy and daddy pays off.

Do us all a favor and dont mod the car until you learn how to handle the power that it comes with stock.

I'm sixteen and I never type like that. Do not use "but I'm only sixteen" as an excuse for anything. It makes us seem even more immature than what the adults already think of us. Regarding your question, each stage in Dinan raises the boost a little bit more, giving you more power.
