Color heads up display is awesome. Here is a pic
The color heads up display is by far the sharpest display I have ever seen. Color is crisp as well. I tried to take a pic of the navigation in the heads up display but because of camera strobing you only get to see part of it. You don’t need to look down at the nav screen with displays this good in the heads up display. This is next gen technology that actually improves and simplifies your driving experience.

Here's my pic! Lane guidance was unexpected and very awesome! I also like the SiriusXM scrolling to find good songs. It might just make me renew those services!

I don't recall what it was like from my test drives but that would be nice. The current one I have is very sharp so I'm not sure how much better you could make it

Pretty sure it's 1920x720 for the 12.3" displays. The 1440p versions are too new to be mainstream at this point, I'm guessing

Though technologically impressive, it may be too much of an information overload during a routine commute, such as to the office daily.
It would definitely be helpful on long drives, particularly in unfamiliar areas. Others have commented on this forum how turning it off actually helped them feel more in control of the car. Too much information and too many screens can be distracting; that's the feeling I sometimes get while driving the new Audi's in the family and comparing it to the mostly analog dials of my older 740Li. Just my 0.02! |
