It means you won't have "M" badges on your fenders or the back lid. Don't worry though, you should have enough other M badges elsewhere like on the rims, steering wheel and other places, just not there.

You can order the genuine part from the dealer or maybe genuine from eBay and stick it back on.

I really don't think the M logo should be used on anything but M or M Performance vehicles ie an M5 or M50d. Hopefully BMW starts to use it more strategically rather than on everything

Anyone know what the exact dimensions are on this particular M Performance badge? I was thinking on getting a gloss black "genuine" one from iND but they don't have it under the G05 category as an option to purchase. Does anyone know if the dimensions are the same as the E82 1M version?

Gloss black. The badge I have is about 54mm x 20mm tall. I believe this is the stock size, maybe Mystro can confirm or you can search his thread (I think he listed the dimensions). |

Thank you! Will order those from my local dealer tomorrow. I'm planning to black out all badges, front grill, exhaust tips and wrap the roof.

I believe the Cerium Grey is the color of part number 51-14-8-058-882. It is not Gloss Black. I still debating buying these from the Dealer and having them professionally installed on my M50i

Or at least they should have different logos which would make more sense and make the pay-more folks feel more special.
