Exhaust note is like NOTHING ELSE. That sound is easily one of the best I've ever heard

No Comparison

I absolutely love both the M3 and C63, but after viewing that video it is even more apparent to me (anyway) that these things REALLY are apples to oranges. The C63 is as Clarkson says, "An AXE MURDERER WITH HEADLIGHTS". The M is precision personified to me.

I've never had so much trouble making up my mind on what to get. I can't afford both (unless I sold my TT-C6), so I'll just wait for my C63 test drive which should be very soon. (per the dealer).

Tough decision, but it is a "good" tough decision to have to make.

Your lawnmower sounds like that? What tune did you give your lawnmower so I can tune mine to sound like that too.

Don't hold back! We are all friends here....

Banter is what makes it fun!

Hey, I will say this... In my OPINION, the M3's engine/exhaust has a better sound than the C63's... it just needs to be A WHOLE LOT LOUDER! Til then, I'll happily throttle up my car whenever I see an M3, just cuz... I like to make noise, and.. I can!

I agree.. I cancelled my exhaust for now since I have to deal with the wife's pregnancy but I'm hoping after the baby there will be other options for M3 owners. The car doesn't really come alive till after about 4k rpm with a fair amount of throttle. The prices for exhausts right now are ridiculous as well.

He's talking about Tim Allen's lawn mower. Big block Chevy, two fours...

I don't know if it will ever see the track. Maybe a few laps. My S2K is just so superior for track work (except in a straight line) and I have now taken out the rear interior and have a cage in it! (it is not really street legal but I drive it to and from the track)

The C63 OTOH, is the best car I've ever bought. It just does everything. It's fast, it's solid, it handles very well, it has all the toys, it's comfortable, it's stealthy... until I get on the gas. To hear that kind of sound coming from a car like this... one that is so refined... a German sports sedan... that's what makes it such a great driving experience. You can't help but grin. It's really a unique car and I it!
