Is it too late to get the BMW CCA rebate

Yesterday I finally decided on the exact configuration and ordered my X5. I gave a deposit and did a credit application. Today I learned about BMWCCA and the rebate. I am not a member but it sounds like getting a 3 year membership 15 days before the purchase (or maybe even within/after!) would allow me to get a refund? If so, was my purchase date yesterday or will it be when I take delivery. Do you think I can still get that? Thanks.

PS: who is paying for this. How are they able to do that

"It’s important to note the membership must be purchased within 15 days of the purchase/lease date of the vehicle or any time prior to. Also, the member must apply for the rebate within 60 days of purchase using the form found at bmwcca.org/vehicle_rebate."

You have 15 days after purchase (which on an ordered car I believe is the actual delivery date?) to sign up. So sign up for the three year membership now and you are good.

Amazing. I was going to sign up anyway but this is a cool sign on bonus. Should I call the dealership, call CCA. Is it like a mail in rebate or will the dealer be facilitating that and take it off the price, etc.

You sign up and submit the rebate all online. You don't need to say anything to your dealer about it. This is BMW money that has zero impact or cost to the dealer.

You can apply online. You just need pics of your bill of sale and the form itself. Just google BMWCCA for details.

it's been $1k for the X5 since it launched last I recall, it varies for different models.

^^^This. The online process is super easy. Have scanned copies of your sales contract and Odometer disclosure in pdf format, ready to upload as part of the online process.

I ordered an X5 and will be purchasing though my company. I joined BMWCCA individually. Will this still work for my rebate? I am signing all papers for the purchase as president of the company. Thanks!

The vehicle has to be purchased/registered in your name (can be joint with non-member spouse).

yes process is very slow, i have submitted on Nov15 and they told me i will get the check no earlier than Feb 15.
