I think I got a pretty good deal...
MSRP: $76,770
Dealer Discount: $4,200 Dealer Rebates: $2,000 USAA Rebate $1,000 BMW CCA Rebate $1,000 (Undertermined if I can get both the USAA and CCA rebate together) Final Price: $68,570 No clue what the dealer discounts pertained to. They came in with a much lower discount at first (3ish %) and they kept claiming that the deals aren't as good as December. All in all I'm happy with the deal as it's with my preferred local dealership. Thanks everyone for the help with the process. Last edited by JGoodell; 01-09-2019 at 12:28 PM.. |

That changed as of 7/5/2018. They can now be combined. Here is the wording on the BMW CCA website:
"Qualifying members may redeem one reward per calendar year (1/1 through 12/31). The rebate is issued in the form of a check from BMW NA following the purchase and successful rebate application submission. The BMW CCA Membership Reward Rebate Program is the only rebate program that applies to European Delivery and Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. Vehicles purchased/leased prior to 7/5/18 cannot combine this program with USAA, Military, Diplomatic, and Corporate Fleet rebate programs. " |

One thing to keep in mind is that the USAA $1,000 is not available if you use BMW for leasing or financing. You must use an outside source in order to get it. If you use BMW Financial then the amount drops to $250.

https://usaa2.secure.zag.com/oem/lan..._id=ZUSA200728 On the offer sheet there is a line that says: "$250 incentive available for Lease and Retail Loan financed through BMW Financial Services." so something is available. If that was the deal that was written up for him then either the person who wrote it up didn't know the incentive rules (I think they may have changed 1/3) or there is something else we don't know. |

Purchased my 2019 X5 end of December 2018 with a net discount of 10.4% off MSRP of $70,830 plus the addition of BMW rubber mats and fitted cargo compartment mat. First time BMW buyer with no trade.

I negotiate contracts for a living
The dealer took the deal at a loss to just get the sale towards their quota They use profits from other deals to pay towards the ones they loose on 76726 build 65k plus 495 doc fee with winter mats and key card Then I will have a 1k on top of that when I mail in my bmwaa credit |
